Noa (Achinoam Nini) - Oh, Lord (אלוהי) - WITH SUBTITLES
After the international success of “Letters To Bach”, Noa is back with a new jazz album entitled "Afterallogy": after a long career and looking back at the aftermath of the recent times’ chaos, Noa chooses to sing her favorite jazz standards accompanied by her long-time partner Gil Dor. To the uncertainties of today's tumult, she contrasts the timeless force of the greatest jazz classics, from African-American music to Broadway. In the costume of an almost-cabaret singer, Noa interprets with Gil a Hebrew poem by Leah Goldberg with a Jazzy original composition: a crossover of aesthetics that is very representative of the diversity of Noa's musical spectrum. ________________________________________________________ Noa - “Oh, Lord (אלוהי)" Lyrics: Leah Goldberg Composition, Guitar: Gil Dor Scripted, directed and edited by Mira Awad ℗ © naïve Noa: YouTube: http://bit.ly/Noa-YT Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AchinoamNini/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/noasmusic Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/noa_nini "Afterallogy" out on April 30th

Wait. ( Official Video ) Amiram Eini
April's song is done. This song represents in the best way I could, the conflicts between the internal and external conflicts of being an artist. The uncertainties of "real life" and the toll it sometimes takes on relationships. I wrote it as part of the 30 day 30 songs challenge last year, The production, piano, cello, programming and backing vocals was all planned and executed beautifully by @reut.yehudai I played guitar and sang which is what I loved to do. Mix and Master Ayal Yishay at papa studio's @ayalyishai @papa_studios The video was directed, produced and edited by @miraawadofficial . I have to admit I was not comfortable at first with the video. It was too close, too naked, to empty. No fireworks no effects. I am sure many people will not make it through the first minute, but in the end after some protest, discussions, disagreements, attempts at changing it. I had to finally concede, that it was the most "right" choice. Mira hit the nail on the head with this in its very simplicity. I hope you will enjoy, but I also look forward to hearing your thoughts, and comments . One third of the way done with the song a month project.

Noa (Achinoam Nini) - Anything Goes
After the international success of “Letters To Bach”, Noa is back with a new jazz album entitled "Afterallogy": after a long career and looking back at the aftermath of the recent times’ chaos, Noa chooses to sing her favorite jazz standards, and some original compositions, accompanied by her long-time partner, guitarist and arranger Gil Dor. To the uncertainties of today's tumultuous situation, she contrasts the timeless force of the greatest jazz classics, from African-American music to Broadway. Noa has added her own lyrics to this Cole Porter Classic, ushering it gently into 2021. In her original additins, she discusses modern day politics and Corona, ending with : “So think again, it’s not infectious, Think of that thing connecting us friends and foes, Anything goes..” The stylized, sexy video clip was made by Noa’s long time friend and collaborated, multi-disciplinary artist Mira Awad. ________________________________________________________ Noa - “Anything Goes" Lyrics and composition: Cole Porter Additional lyrics: Noa (Achinoam Nini) Guitar: Gil Dor Scripted, directed and edited by Mira Awad ℗ ©️ naïve Noa: YouTube: http://bit.ly/Noa-YT Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AchinoamNini/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/noasmusic Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/noa_nini "Afterallogy" out on April 30th

Mira Awad - Yaba (Father) - ميرا عوض - يابا
My father and I were born and raised in the same exact geographical spot - A village called Rameh in the Galilee. However, he was born in 1936 in what was called Palestine, while in 1975 I was born in Israel. The song Yaba is about our identity as native Palestinian citizens of this troubled homeland. Father, father. Father, I feel like a tree Big and ancient That has been in this land for generations It has deep roots But has no space The skies above it have bars Against which the branches break. Father, our land is beneath our feet But we have no homeland We live in houses of stone But feel in exile. Father, I am tired But not despaired Father, I am the voice of the mountain I am the shiver in the eucalyptus branches I am the wheat and the sieve And the lighthouse on the port Father FB - https://www.facebook.com/miraawad/ Instagram -https://www.instagram.com/miraaawad/ Mira Awad Website: https://www.miraawad.co/

Special thanks go to director Laliv Sivan, it was a pleasure being directed by you. Mira On a personal note: Asfura Ustura (Phoenix) is a song about junctions, inner battles, re-birth and renewal. I took many hits in my life and in my career, and fell down. Luckily, something inside me always knew how to quickly rise again, how to tend to the wounds and keep going. This is to the extent that I have actually perfected falling. Sounds funny right? But it makes sense. When you are out there, taking risks, treading where no wo/man has gone before, you are bound to get knocked down sometimes, falling is inevitable, it is part of the journey. Therefore, it is essential to learn the technique for falling, like a professional stunt person would. So that you don't break your bones every time. Moreover, you develop a method to fall forward. So that even if you're down, you are still a step forward from where you were standing before. This always reminded me of the Phoenix legend, the bird that burns to ashes and then gets reborn. That's why I have a tattoo of a Phoenix on my back, a reminder that I am an experienced faller, a legend-bird that will always find the way to spread her wings and fly again. Translation: From above the clouds From behind the dust of wreckage No, there is not A place for me To land, and rest No place to lean my wing A broken bird. To the farthest distance Nothing left but ashes There is no beginning Without an end. From the mouth of the volcano I spread my wings again A legend bird (Phoenix) Digital : Digistage LTD

Amiram SLEAZY עמירם
"A Joke That No One Understands" Song nr.2 in my song a month series. This song has definitely been one of my favourites lately. It encompasses so much of the feelings and energies that are circulating around me lately. It was written a few days before my last birthday, and its definitely not meant to be taken in a literal sense, but it probably will be. As the song says `"A Joke That No One Understands" I brought the unfinished song to @reut.yehudai and together we finished writing it. She then did her magic arranged and produced it. Giving it the powerful cabaret feeling, It was while we were working on this song that I felt I had something, and decided to commit to the one song a month for a year project. The video was created, directed, edited, make up and styled by @miraawadofficial I've been lucky to have such powerful and talented friends who dedicate their time and talents to help me realise this. A song a month is an ambitious project. I'm learning as I go along, but I hope in the process I create something valuable. It wasn't planned to come out during Purim, but I couldn't have planned it better than this Please comment and share, let me know what you think. . lyrics: Amiram Eini Music: Amiram Eini & Reut Yehudai Produced and arranged by: Reut Yehudai Guitars: Adam Tal Acoustic Guitar: Amiram Eini Mix and Master Ayal Yishay at papa studio's @ayalyishai @papa_studios Directed, Edited: Mira Awad After Effects: Goga Beniashvili
